These are my favorite low ball glasses I have ever had. The glass is so so thin and the look is absolutely beautiful and modern. They feel great in the hand and are really the perfect glass for a low ball cocktail or liquor on the rocks or neat. There is a fun story about these glasses an rita hayworth who supposedly was the inspiration for the margarita. I love that and I love these glasses. I hope they never break.
The gift box says the set is inspired by movie icon Rita Hayworth. These glasses are for women according to my husband, too delicate for his taste, but I love holding them and sipping from them. Happy with my purchase.
These are brilliant combining the fine lip of a wine glass with the pleasing shape of a rocks glass. They come in a nice package which would make them very suitable for gift giving. They won’t take a lot of abuse but they are very pleasing to use.
The Hayworth glasses "Leading :any" are very delicate rocks classes. They weigh about 1/3 of a standard rocks glass. The workmanship on them is very good and they are comfortable to drink from. I plan on hand washing these even though they are obviously dishwasher safe, they would probably be banged around too much. Packaging was substantial and used biodegrable packing peanuts. It would be nice if these glasses were marked in some way but they are no markings anywhere. The history on the box is interesting and these rocks glasses make a great gift!
The packaging on these are fantastic, bubble wrapped then encased in popcorn. These are thin glasses. The bottom is thin and liquid will reach every bit of space which makes for endless looking cocktail and the rim is about as thin. These are delicate and modern glasses which you would be proud to serve a margarita on the rocks in (recipe is also included on the box’s lid).
