For over a quarter century, HISTORY COMPANY has specialized in functional and meaningful products, inspired by craft, sophistication, and exclusivity.  

Our very first product was an executive chair, true to the chair used by President John F. Kennedy at his desk in the White House Oval Office.  We ran a small ad in The Wall Street Journal and in a few months sold these historic chairs to hundreds of homes and offices in cities all over the country, to celebrities and business leaders at home and abroad.

Guided by the voices of our customers, we expanded our offerings to include historically faithful home essentials hard to find elsewhere—vintage-style furniture, refined barware, rare artifacts, and of course, an expanded collection of executive chairs for the home or professional office.
